The weekend that passed offered a wide selection of weather to choose from. Saturday was the day with nice weather, so the famliy went out for a bit of fresh air. We sort of got stuck at Vombs ängar where there were lots of birds in the air. Amongst all the geese, a young peregrine falcon was hunting. However, what I found most interesting was all the bats. There were at least 50 bats (Common Noctule / Nyctalus noctula / Större fladdermus) flying around. I managed to get some images of them (though 180mm was definately too short; the image is heavily cropped):

After that we headed on to the nearby lake Krankesjön, where this somewhat slow frog (I assume it's a Common Frog / Rana temporaria / Vanlig groda) posed for some images:
