This evening I went to the lake Krankesjön for a short visit. Not a lot of birds in movement, but I found these lovely Harebells (blåklocka in Swedish) that posed nicely in the warm evening light.

During most of the summer I have taken a daily walk with my son in the pram and since he has spent a good part of those walks sleeping, the camera has followed me. Mostly I have been found crawling on my knees next to the path with the camera and macro lens. This fly is one of the results from such a walk (or crawl).

I heard "Start of Something Beautiful" by Porcupine Tree on the (internet) radio today, and was again struck by how brilliant the song is. One of my absolute favourite songs ever, I think. I find the full song totally brilliant, but especially the last half of it (starting around 4:15) I find just mind blowing.

I have had the blog offline for a while, but I have decided to revive it a bit. I have a couple of software related things that will be posted at some point in a (hopefully) not too distant future. Time is an issue, being home on parental leave does not necessarily mean that there is a lot of time available.

Anyway, I figured that I should post an occasional photo as well. Here is one I made the other day after the rain.
